Period of Hire (Weekly Lets)
Rentals commence at 3pm on day of arrival and end at 10am on day of departure.
NUMBERS OF PERSONS USING THE PROPERTY
The number of people must not exceed the maximum number stipulated on either the website or brochure. We reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed and to terminate your stay with no refund if you are found to be over-occupying any cottage.
CARE OF PROPERTY
You agree that you should take proper care of the property and its furniture, fittings and effects in or on the property site and leave them in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning. You will be liable for any cost resulting in damage/breakages which have occurred during your stay for any additional cleaning costs resulting from failure to comply with the foregoing.
Short Break means a stay of a minimum three nights.
Pets are only allowed with the owners prior approval. Please use your “doggy bags” to remove any fouling. All dogs must be kept on a leash in communal areas.
If a holidaymaker takes a dog to a property that does not allow them or exceeds the stated number/size of pet, the property owner or his representative can refuse to allow the holidaymaker to take possession of the property or make the holidaymaker leave the property before the end of the holiday. If this happens the holidaymaker shall be deemed to have cancelled the booking and shall have no claim for compensation or reimbursement whatsoever.
The holidaymaker is liable for all damage caused by his/her pets. The holidaymaker should remove all traces (inside and out) from the property of pet occupation before final departure. The property owner reserves the right to levy an additional charge for any extra cleaning required after the holidaymaker’s occupancy. The holidaymaker must not allow pets in bedrooms and bathrooms at any time, on beds or on any furniture within the property and pets must not be left alone in the property at any time. If the holidaymaker breaches the clause the property owner or his representative may notify the holidaymaker of the breach and if the holidaymaker continues to breach the clause the property owner or his representative may make the holidaymaker leave the property before the end of the holiday. If this happens the holidaymaker shall be deemed to have cancelled the booking and the holidaymaker shall have no claim for compensation or reimbursement whatsoever.
The contract for the holiday rental shall be made between you and the owners of the Point Cottages.
The contract is binding when you receive your booking confirmation and your deposit paid is cleared.
The balance must be paid four or six weeks before arrival.
When bookings are made within six weeks of arrival day, the full amount of the booking must be made.
All deposits are non-refundable; it is therefore advisable for you to arrange holiday insurance.

If the guest cancels before paying the balance, or does not pay the balance on time, the booking deposit (which includes the booking fee) is not refunded, and the booking is cancelled automatically.
In the event of any reason for complaints, these must be notified promptly, in the first instance, to the caretakers. If the problem persists you can always contact the owners. The caretakers and owners telephone numbers are contained in the Information Guide in the premises.
All our properties are non-smoking properties.
Guests must accept all responsibilities for their own and their children's safety.
CAR PARK DISCLAIMER
All vehicles are parked at their owners risk.
Point Cottages and the owners accept no liability for all personnel items/valuables left in the cottages.
This is a shared facility for use by all the cottage guests. Please keep it tidy and clean after use. When using please ensure that clothes are removed at the end of washing or drying cycle. Please don't leave clothes stored in this area. No washing is to be hung outside cottages.
